Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, published in 1998 for Sony PlayStation, is the video game followed by the famous Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.
Set immediately after the events narrated by the first chapter, Abe's Exoddus is considered by many to be a sort of bonus episode, in which Abe returns to his homeland after rescuing his fellows. Hailed as a true hero, Abe stumbles, hits his head and faints during the festivities. While unconscious, he is warned by the sacred spirits of the shamans about the presence of a new one threat from the Glukkon, who are looting the graves of the ancestors of the mudokons.
Abe must therefore save his people once again, sabotaging the glukkon industry and saving his friends, who have meanwhile become slaves and locked up in the Storm of Souls Establishment. Very similar to that of the first episode, the gameplay sees the protagonist able to communicate with his peers through the commands "Hello" and "Follow me", all seasoned with new fun functions such as the controlled fart.
In Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus there are puzzles to solve, skill tests to overcome - for example obstacle courses and acrobatic jumps - and many other situations that make the game enjoyable and rather long-lived.
