Disney's Aladdin or simply Aladdin is a platform video game developed by Virgin Games e Disney Software in 1993. Logically, it is based on the animated film of the same name released in cinemas in 1992.
Issued for Sega Mega Drive/ Genesis in November in 1993, Aladdin was later converted to the Amiga and to MS-DOS the following year. The game also arrived on the Nintendo Entertainment System and Game Boy. Aladdin was not the only title based on the Disney animated film, indeed in the same month of the same year Capcom released a title for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System also based on the events of the film.
The title immediately achieved enormous success with audiences and critics: it sold over 4 million copies and became the third best-selling title ever for Sega Mega Drive / Genesis. The player controls Aladdin, who must make his way through numerous levels based on the locations of the animated film. From the streets to the rooftops of Agrabah to the final confrontation with Jafar in his palace, i levels they follow each other more and more beautiful and detailed.
